Ruby (our sub-camp mascot) has written to Sue C, Luton South Division Commissioner, to ask if she can go and live at Haverings, once she has had a wash. She is currently at home with Moley, who is looking after her for a few weeks.
Photos available below ... if you took some and can send me the images ... I will publish them as well - enjoy!
What a week! We had an absolutely fab time. We all said 'Yes' whenever we faced challenges. We ate well, thanks to QM (Clare/Badger), and were well looked after by our leaders. The Achievement Wall in the Chill-Out Zone has some of our names on it.
We got the opportunity to make new friends and camp with old. We did climbing, abseiling, rifle shooting, the cresta run, archery, the crate challenge, orienteering, played in a rock band, went ice skating, 10-pin bowling and swimming at Jarman Park. We did crafts, went to two camp fires, a disco, saw a band and played in a football tournment - and our team, the Ravens, won.
We laughed, we cried, we got wet, but we dried out again. We sang, we shouted, we hugged, we had an absolutey FANTASTIC time. THANK YOU
